After Minority Report, released in 2002, a story about predicting future crimes (pray that it never happens), I saw Duel, your very first movie from 1971, in which a giant truck threatens the life of a man driving a car. I have seen quite a few of your movies and I was seized by a desire to write to you. It was as if I was speaking to you, I, the spectator, sitting in the dark of the movie theatre, and you, behind the screen, were telling me a story. I have always imagined the movies like that?
